A storm cloud in the distance, anxiety. It’s so easy to spend time and energy choosing to focus on the storm ahead, the rain that’s coming. Just beyond the storm is golden sunshine. It’s not easy, but you get to choose whether to focus on the storm or the light. Which will you choose today?
Painting for me is therapeutic, helping me connect with what I’m feeling in the moment. Storm clouds and anxiety have come up lately, but so has the sunlight just beyond the storm. I’m reminded daily that I get to choose which to focus on.
