I love this mountain outside Gatlinburg and have many fond memories of hiking to this exact spot as a teenager and young adult. I had a group of men that would go there every year in the winter and it was just magical. The sunsets were stunning. The air was crisp and cold. The company was delightful. I captured this photo on one of those trips and decided to memorialize it in a painting.
